Plainly, what this site knows about you

What we collect

Analytics, and nothing else, and only if you say yes. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how this site is actually used, and it runs only after you choose Accept on the consent banner at the bottom of the page. What it records, once you have accepted:

The pages you open, and how far down each one you scroll.

Which links to other sites you click.

Roughly where in the world you are, at the city level, worked out from your IP address.

What kind of device and browser you are using, and whether you have been here before.

To tell one visit apart from the next, Google sets cookies in your browser, and it does so only after you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing about your visit is measured. Those are the only cookies involved, and there is no other tracking on this site: no session recordings, no heatmaps, no chat widget, nobody watching a replay of your visit. Google holds the analytics data for 14 months and then deletes it. This site itself sets no cookies at all. The one thing it does save in your browser is a single small note recording the choice you made, so it does not ask again. That note holds nothing about you, no name, no ID, nothing anyone could trace, and it never leaves your browser. And you can change your mind at any time: the Cookie preferences link in the footer reopens the banner.

Why we look at it

We would rather fix a page than guess at it. Analytics tells us which pages genuinely help someone decide, and which ones quietly lose them, so the next round of work goes where it is actually needed. That is the entire purpose.

We do not use any of it to advertise to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else, and there is no mailing list it feeds into.

What Google does with it

Worth being straight about, because this data passes through Google's hands and not only ours, even though we do not use it to advertise. We have turned off the setting that would let Google connect what it sees here to a visitor's signed-in Google account or use it across Google's own services. Google still processes it under its own terms as the company running the analytics tool, in the same way any measurement service would.

You can read Google's privacy policy, and if you would rather not be measured at all, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns Analytics off everywhere you go. Use it freely. We will never know the difference, and nothing here will treat you any differently.

What we never collect

There are no accounts on this site, so there is no password of yours to lose. There is nothing to buy, so we never see a card. We do not ask about your health, your practice's finances, or anyone in your care, and we would not want to. Nothing you read here is tied to your name, because we never learn it.

When you get in touch

Two ways, and both end up in an ordinary inbox rather than a database.

The Let's Create button opens Google's scheduling page. That page is Google's, not ours, so the name, email and time you enter there are handled under Google's terms and arrive in our Google Calendar the way any booking would.

The Keep in touch box on the home page works in a way worth knowing about: it does not send anything anywhere. It opens your own email app with a short message already written, and your address reaches us only if you choose to press send. Nothing is stored on this site, because this site has nowhere to store it.

The technical bit

Two things load from elsewhere so the site looks and moves the way it should: the typefaces come from Google Fonts, and the animation code from a public code library service called jsDelivr. Both see your IP address in the moment they hand a file to your browser, which is how nearly every site on the internet works. Neither is ours, and neither is told anything about you.
